Abstract

Male athlete, speed skating modality, underwent sports evaluation and followup from 11 to 21 years old. Electrocardiogram and echocardiogram revealed no abnormalities. During this period, he underwent seven cardiopulmonary exercise tests (CPET) to evaluate aerobic power and identify ventilatory thresholds. The temporal analysis of the variables obtained in the CPET interestingly illustrates the combined effects of growth and training.
