Professional Soccer with Multiple Myocardial Bridging. Release or Not for Competitive Sports Practice?

Abstract

17-year-old female soccer player, in pre-participation sports evaluation, presented the exercise test with ischemic response. Undergoing coronary artery angiotomography that demonstrated four myocardial bridging. The risk was stratified by the perfusion study with myocardial perfusion scintigraphy using the Gated-SPECT technique with MIBI-99mTc associated with physical stress on a treadmill, in the absence of ischemia and symptoms, being released for the practice of competitive sports.
