Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, which extends well beyond initial expectations, has at various times made home based rehabilitation the only option. Often, home based rehab, classically a hybrid form that has some face-to-face sessions, required readjustments such as totally remote operation since the initial evaluation and, in view of the prohibition even of outdoor exercises in parks and social clubs, of activities carried out exclusively at home, most often with no gym equipment available. In this context, dance emerges as a good option, as it can be performed in a domestic environment, requiring little space, free of charge and making it possible to safely and effectively not only aerobic, but also anaerobic (resistance exercises) and flexibility training.
